Diamonds – A Flawless Investment

With times being tough for the majority of the population and the term “current economic climate” being bandied around like it were a catchphrase, even high flying investors of the 90’s are struggling to grow their portfolios without considerable risk.

In the past, many of us would have looked to stocks and shares to plan for a nest egg or a retirement fund. Those types of options are no longer viable without extreme risks to the investor. Bank shares are a ‘no-go’ area, property shouldn’t be touched even with a very long stick, and there really isn’t a company whose shares are safe at the moment.

So what gives? Where’s the solution?

One word. Diamonds.

Of all the areas that have seen decline over the past 10 – 20 years, the Diamond market has remained not just steady in its growth but has surpassed even the most optimistic of predictions. Statistics tell us that Diamond prices are increasing steadily year on year by a minimum of 15%, and in some cases pertaining to rarer and larger stones you’re looking at a return of over 50%.

This is largely due to the fact that no new diamond mines have been discovered in the past 20 years, which is driving up the price on any new exceptional diamonds that come onto the market.

Who can invest in a Diamond?

Anyone. Diamond investment has long been associated with the rich and famous, those who belong to elite groups or have an inheritance to invest. This is no longer the case. Diamond investment is now a more viable option for those who are earning a modest salary and can be a real opportunity to grow your savings by a considerable amount.

What should I look out for?

The best advice I can give when looking to invest your hard earned cash in a Diamond is that you chose a reputable company to deal with. Do your background checks before even considering investing and make sure you are dealing with a company that is recognised globally as being successful in their field. It is also advisable that you chose a Diamond sales company that can help you with the resale of your Diamond and who knows when the time is right to sell.

Successful companies will charge a percentage on the sale price for this service, sometimes up to 10%, we on the other hand realise that your investment is just that and we charge just 2%, ensuring you are getting the most out of your investment.

Here at Diamond Global Sales, we are very happy to talk you through the process without any obligation on your behalf. Diamonds need not be forever, however they can make a significant difference on how you live your ‘happy ever after’.
